The England international was included in the team alongside Bayern defender Rafinha, Paris Saint-Germain leader Thiago Silva, Juventus powerhouse Paul Pogba and Barcelona superstar Andres Iniesta, meaning the Gunners midfielder is certainly in good company.
Gotze, who scored the winning goal for Germany in the World Cup final against Argentina last summer, is clearly a huge fan of Wilshere and according to reports [via Mirror Sport] the pair could soon be teammates as the former has been heavily linked with a transfer to the Emirates Stadium in the last few weeks.
Wilshere’s inclusion may come as a surprise to many given his injury problems in the last couple of seasons, but he will be hoping steer clear of the treatment table this year and build on a strong end to the 2014-15 campaign in which he scored a stunner for the Gunners against West Brom and then followed it up with a sensational brace for the Three Lions against Slovenia a few weeks later.
