Arsenal legend Martin Keown believes his old club could be working on a deal to sign a truly world class striker to add to their squad.

The former Gunners defender believes that could be the missing link between Arsene Wenger’s side and Premier League glory this season, following on from recent speculation that the north Londoners may have as much as £200m in the bank.

Players like Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski and Gonzalo Higuain have been linked with moves to the Emirates Stadium, and though nothing has materialised so far, Keown seems optimistic.
