Reds tipped to land exciting midfielder.
Liverpool look poised to complete a deal for Real Madrid midfielder and Arsenal target Asier Illarramendi this summer after seeing a bid accepted for the player.
The Spanish international is currently out of favour at the Bernabeu after just two seasons with the club, and seems set to move for around £14.2m, according to Fichajes.net.
Illarramendi would be an ideal replacement for Steven Gerrard in midfield, and has the range of passing to fit Brendan Rodgers’ side’s style of play.
