Manchester United ‘make €84.7m approach to sign world’s best finisher’

Manchester United could be about to launch a sensational £60m bid to re-sign their former star Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid this summer.

The Portuguese international is one of the deadliest finishers in the world after another amazing season last term, and the Metro claim that £60m probably won’t be enough to land the 30-year-old.

Still, United remain keen on sealing a deal for their former hero, who left Old Trafford for the Bernabeu in an £80m deal back in the summer of 2009.
