Manchester United‘s club record signing Angel Di Maria‘s imminent departure to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain appears to have angered a selection of Red Devils supporters on social media.
The Argentine winger, who signed from La Liga giants Real Madrid last summer for a fee of £59.7million, was reportedly fined by United manager Louis van Gaal for failing show up for the club’s pre-season tour of the United States [via Manchester Evening News] and his spell in English football looks set to end in a cloud of controversy.
Di Maria is poised to sign for PSG in the coming days following reports on Sunday morning [via BBC Sport] which stated that a £44.5million fee had been agreed and the 27-year-old is set to undergo a medical inside the next 24 hours.
