Arsenal could be about to make a major change to their transfer policy and bring in two world class players in attack in an attempt to make a serious go of winning the Premier League this season.
The Gunners have plenty to spend this summer, with a club chief recently quoted as saying Arsene Wenger had £200m in the bank, and a large chunk of that could now go on two big-name attackers.
Reports today claim these two stars will be targeted and could be realistic buys:
1) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
In a club-record £45m deal, Arsenal are being tipped to succeed with a bid to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer, in what would be a huge upgrade on players like Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck. The Frenchman was also linked with Liverpool this summer, before they opted to sign Christian Benteke instead.
