Manchester United transfer target scores SENSATIONAL solo goal against Tottenham in pre-season friendly

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale scored a wonderful goal against Tottenham on his first appearance against his former club since departure from White Hart Lane in the 2013 summer transfer window.

The Welshman doubled Los Blancos’ lead in the 79th minute as the La Liga giants eased to a 2-0 victory over Spurs at the Allianz Arena in the Audi Cup semi-final on Tuesday afternoon.

Bale won possession inside the Spurs half and drove at the heart of their defence before firing the ball past Michel Vorm into the bottom corner and served a timely reminder to supporters of the North London outfit as to what they have been missing over the last two seasons.

The 26-year-old could face his former club once again in the very near future if reports in the media over the past week [via Express Sport] linking him with a summer transfer to Manchester United are true.
