West Ham have launched an £11.9m bid for Man United forward Javier Hernandez according to the Metro.

Upton Park boss Slaven Bilic is without forwards Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia, both sidelined with injuries, and the Croatian has now set his sights on experienced Mexican Javier Hernandez.

The 27-year-old spent last season out on loan at Real Madrid but has found his way back into Louis van Gaal’s first team set-up, though this is chiefly down to a lack of options open to the Dutch manager.
