Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho admits he has NO IDEA about winger’s Stamford Bridge future

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he has no idea what is happening with Mohamed Salah‘s future, reports the Daily Express.

The 23-year-old has seemingly confirmed that he is moving to AS Roma on twitter, posting ‘Done’ and changing his description to ‘Footballer for AS Ro… and Egypt’. However, there has been no confirmation from either club, and the 52-year-old doesn’t know himself what is going to happen with the player.

“I have no idea [about his future],” he said, “I just know that Salah left Chelsea a few months ago to play on loan with Fiorentina. I was happy because he was playing every game and that’s the objective of a loan.”

The winger went on loan to Fiorentina last January, and managed six goals and three assists in 16 league appearances. He may now be plying his trade for La Viola’s Serie A rivals, which will be a major blow.

With Juan Cuadrado unable to score or assist a single goal during last season, it may have been an idea for the Egypt international to return to Stamford Bridge. However, it seems that this isn’t going to happen, perhaps leaving the Blues short in the wide areas if Eden Hazard gets injured.
