Di Maria deal to allow exciting star to take no.7 shirt.
Manchester United will hand the number 7 shirt to £30m summer signing Memphis Depay after Angel Di Maria completes his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Argentine is closing in on an exit from Old Trafford this week, expecting to bring in around £44m from his sale, which should allow for United to sign Barcelona winger Pedro.
Still, it seems Depay, not Pedro, would take Di Maria’s 7 shirt, despite wearing the number 9 for most of pre-season so far as he seems most likely to play up front this season.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the Netherlands starlet has specifically requested the option to take Di Maria’s old shirt.
