The Pedro Man Utd deal could be in doubt after speculation that the Premier League giants are unsure over paying the Spaniard’s £23m asking price.
The 28-year-old has little resale value at this stage of his career, and United feel it may be risky forking out so much cash for a player who may not have that long at the very top level of the game.
Pedro broke into the Barcelona team as a youngster and has been a regular ever since then, perhaps giving him some risk of burn-out in the next couple of years, as is common for players who start their careers early.
