Chelsea will complete the signing of Augsburg left-back Abdul Rahman Baba within a few days, despite interest from Man City, according to The Sun.

The Blues have sold Filipe Luis back to Atletico Madrid, the Brazilian lasting just one season at Stamford Bridge, leaving the West London side lacking options at left-back.

The Sun state that Chelsea will wrap up a £15m deal for Baba Rahman, as Mourinho looks to step-up his summer spending, with the Portuguese manager having had a fairly quiet time of it in the transfer window thus far.

Indeed Mourinho has voiced his concerns over his side’s activity (Mirror) and then saw his Chelsea open the season with a 2-2 home draw with Swansea City.
