Louis van Gaal wants to bring in a world class name in that position after losing key figures like Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao earlier this summer.
According to the Metro, Muller remains one of the Dutchman’s priority targets for the role, and the German international is undoubtedly a proven finisher and quality performer on the big stage.
