Aston Villa vs Manchester United team news: No De Gea for Red Devils and Januzaj replaces Young in only change

The starting XI’s for the Barclays Premier League fixture between Aston Villa and Manchester United has been confirmed.

As expected goalkeeper David De Gea is not in the squad for the game at Villa Park as speculation over a move to Liga BBVA giants Real Madrid continues to dominate most of the media talk surrounding the Red Devils and in his absence Sergio Romero is handed his away debut by manager Louis van Gaal.

One change to the side that beat Spurs six days ago sees youngster Adnan Januzaj come into the team in place of Ashley Young, who drops to the bench.

Meanwhile the hosts are unchanged from the team that beat newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth last weekend as manager Tim Sherwood has resisted the temptation to hand the match-winner from that game Rudy Gestede a full league debut.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the game finished 1-1 as Radamel Falcao’s second half goal cancelled out Christian Benteke’s early opener.
