Chelsea lost 3-0 to Manchester City on Sunday, with many problems with their team on display.
The embarrassing defeat could well have manager Jose Mourinho looking to the transfer market to strengthen his team. So far this summer they have signed Asmir Begovic, Radamel Falcao, and Abdul Baba Rahman, none of whom are likely to starting regularly through the season.

John Terry and Gary Cahill both looked off the pace against the Citizens on Sunday, with the pace of Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, and Jesus Navas causing problems. Stones has continued to impress in the first two games of the current season, and could be perfect to add some youth and pace to the middle of the Blues’ defence.
