Tottenham want Chelsea attacker: Blues forward could be sold this summer

Tottenham are interested in to signing Chelsea winger Victor Moses, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international has spent the past two seasons out on loan, at Liverpool and Stoke City respectively, but was ushered back into the Blues squad for their pre-season matches.

Victor Moses last made a senior competitive appearances for Chelsea back in May 2013 and was not part of their matchday squad for their recent 3-0 defeat at Manchester City. The evidence suggests that the Nigerian is way down Jose Mourinho’s pecking order.

The Daily Mirror state that the former Crystal Palace man could leave Stamford Bridge this summer in order to make room for potential new additions, and Spurs retain an interest in the speedy attacker.

Mauricio Pochettino saw wide-attackers Erik Lamela, Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon all fail to hit the desired level of consistency last season, and none of the trio have started a Premier League fixture thus far in 2014/15. One can well see why the Tottenham manager would be considering a move for a fresh addition.

Moses netted ten goals in his debut season at Chelsea and was a player that former boss Rafa Benitez used regularly, but has not been given the chance to impress during Jose Mourinho’s time in charge of the West London club.
