Chelsea star targeted by Premier League outfit, left out of matchday squad

Chelsea star Victor Moses is the subject of a £6 million bid from West Ham, reports the Metro.

However, the Blues want closer to £10 million for the 24-year-old, who has been left out of their matchday squad to face West Brom on Sunday. The Nigeria international is unlikely to play much of a part for the Stamford Bridge outfit if he does stay, with recent arrival Pedro knocking him further down the pecking order.

The winger managed three goals and three assists in 19 appearances in the Premier League on loan at Stoke City, making the price tag seem slightly expensive. However, this doesn’t seem to have put off the Hammers, who are still in need of reinforcements despite being knocked out of the Europa League.

Aston Villa and Tottenham are also supposed to be interested in the midfielder, but it is the East London side who have made the first move. Whether this will spur the other two clubs on to make offers is unknown, but if they do it could push the price up closer to what the Stamford Bridge outfit want for their player.
