Everton vs Man City CONFIRMED team news: Chelsea transfer target STARTS, no place for new £32m City signing

The starting XI’s for the Barclays Premier League fixture between Everton and Manchester City at Goodison Park this afternoon has been confirmed.

City, who have made a stunning start to the campaign, are unchanged from the side which began the 3-0 win over reigning champions Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium last week and there is no place in the squad for new arrival Nicolas Otamendi.

However, fellow new recruit Fabian Delph could make his debut for the club after recovering from an injury picked up in pre-season to take his place on the substitutes bench.

Meanwhile for the Toffees, John Stones starts again despite speculation surrounding his future as manager Roberto Martinez also names an unchanged team following a comfortable win over Southampton at St Mary’s last weekend.

In the corresponding fixture last season, the two teams played out a 1-1 draw as Fernandinho’s opener was cancelled out four minutes later by Steven Naismith.
