Juventus want Chelsea pair as Jose Mourinho considers player sales

Serie A side Juventus retain an interest in Chelsea duo Willian and Juan Cuadrado, according to the Daily Star.

Brazilian international Willian has been a regular in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven over the past year but has offered little by way of an end product in the final third, the 27-year-old providing just two goals and three assists in 36 Premier League appearances last season.

The Daily Star claim Juventus are ready to offer £18m for Willian, some way below the £30m Chelsea paid Shakhtar Donetsk for the attacker two years ago (via BBC Sport).

Juventus would surely find it easier to land Cuadrado, with the Daily Star stating that the Italian giants want to bring in the former Fiorentina man on an initial loan deal.

Cuadrado was brought in to back-up Chelsea’s wide-attacking options in January but has thus far failed to score a single goal or provide a single assist in 13 Premier League appearances.

Chelsea have brought in Pedro from Barcelona, and the Daily Star state that the West London side may look to offload Victor Moses and Oscar now that they have a decent number of options in the final third.
