However, according to the Daily Star, Neymar may prove unaffordable for United, with Barcelona surely willing to do whatever it takes to avoid selling one of their best players – especially as they cannot register new players until their FIFA transfer ban ends in January.
Neymar was superb for the Catalan giants last season, scoring 39 goals for the club as they won a stunning treble, and there’s no doubt his arrival would be a major statement from United.
