“I’ve changed”, Liverpool FLOP makes STUNNING vow ahead of return to AC Milan

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has reportedly told AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic that he’s “changed” following confirmation that the two clubs have opened talks over a season-long loan deal.

The Italian international signed for the Reds from the Serie A giants last summer in a deal worth a reported £16million fee [via BBC Sport], but has failed to hold down a regular place in the side under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Balotelli was given a chance to lead the line in the absence of Daniel Sturridge at the start of last season, but after failing to register a goal in the league before the New Year, he was then reduced to an impact role off the bench.

Following the arrivals of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings over the summer, it has all but ended the 25-year-old’s spell on Merseyside.

A return to the San Siro is on the cards for Balotelli following comments from the club’s CEO Adriano Galliani, and according to Italian publication Gazzetta World, the controversial striker has promised to be on his best behaviour:

“You’ll be the first to arrive and the last to leave.”

“You must always give your best, otherwise you’ll find your bags packed outside Milanello,” Mihajlovic reportedly explained to Balotelli.

“I’ve changed,”, the experience from my father is serving me well. I will not let you down,” Balotelli vowed.
