Barcelona manager TIGHT-LIPPED on speculation linking Brazilian star with Manchester United

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has refused to comment on speculation linking Brazilian superstar Neymar with a potential transfer to Premier League giants Manchester United.

Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly keen to bolster his attacking options before the window closes next week and reports in the media over the weekend has linked the club with a shock swoop for Neymar.

After selling club-record signing Angel Di Maria to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain earlier in the summer and missing out on Spanish winger Pedro’s signature last week, United are desperate to add a big name player to the to the squad this summer.

Sky Sports confirmed United’s interest in Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale on Sunday, however with a deal looking increasingly unlikely for the Welshman, it appears Neymar is the club’s first choice target.

There has been reports that the 23-year-old is willing to make the switch to England as his agent was reportedly spotted at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon and his manager is remaining tight-lipped on the whole situation:

“It doesn’t interest me to talk about rumours, nor these types of situations,” the Barca boss said after watching his side beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in their first game of the new Liga BBVA campaign [via talkSPORT].

“I only want to focus on what’s happened to my team,” Enrique added.
