Chelsea eyeing BRILLIANT £112m double move to make up for TERRIBLE start to season

Chelsea are interested in a swoop for two internationals who could cost them a combined £112 million, reports the Daily Express.

First of all the Blues are still keen on Everton star John Stones, and could make a £40 million bid before the transfer window slams shut in a week. The Toffees have already rejected three offers from the Premier League champions, but Jose Mourinho doesn’t seem to have taken no for an answer.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have already brought Abdul Baba Rahman to the club to bolster their back line this summer. However, after conceding eight goals in their first three league games, they may need some more reinforcements before they are able to challenge Manchester City for the title.

Stones has become a part of the starting XI at Goodison Park over the last year, and has also become a regular part of the England squad. At 21-years-old, the former Barnsley man could be a great successor to the ageing John Terry.
