Memphis Depay reacts to Manchester United being paired with former club in Champions League group stage

Manchester United forward Memphis Depay has taken to social media and revealed his excitement at facing his former club PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

The Dutchman joined the Red Devils from last season’s Eredivisie champions earlier in the summer and is set for a swift reunion with his old side as early as next month as United visit the Philips Stadion in their opener on September 15.

Depay was impressive over both playoff games against Belgian outfit Club Brugge as he netted a fantastic brace in the first-leg fixture at Old Trafford last week and then provided an assist for Wayne Rooney in the return clash on Wednesday night.

Shortly after the draw was announced the 21-year-old posted a message on his official Twitter account to build up the anticipation of his return to Holland.
