Manchester United are pursuing the signings of both Barcelona forward Neymar and Southampton striker Sadio Mane, the latter of which could be done by Tuesday.
The Red Devils remain set on a hugely ambitious deal for the world class Brazilian, but a move for Senegal international Mane could be more realistic for the club.

According to the Daily Star, both players are priority targets for Louis van Gaal’s side, which is unsurprising given the departures of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao in this transfer window.
Talks seem to be progressing well in a deal for Mane, who impressed in the Premier League last season, most notably with a fastest-ever hat-trick in a win over Aston Villa.
