The team news for this afternoon’s Barclays Premier League clash between Swansea City and Manchester United has been released.

The Red Devils are once again without goalkeeper David De Gea as speculation surrounding his future persists and Sergio Romero keeps his place in between the sticks and will be hoping for a fourth successive clean sheet in the league.

Captain Wayne Rooney leads the line once again following his stunning hat-trick in midweek against Club Brugge and there is a first league start of the season for midfielder Ander Herrera, who also impressed in the 4-0 win in Belgium.

Meanwhile the hosts will be without in-form winger Jefferson Montero for the game at the Liberty Stadium, but there is a place for top scorer Bafetimbi Gomis, who has found the back of the net in all three league games so far this season.
