Anders Lindegaard completes transfer to Premier League rivals from Manchester United

Anders Lindegaard has joined the exodus at Manchester United by completing a permanent transfer to fellow Premier League outfit West Brom.

The Red Devils announced the news via their official Twitter account on Monday evening and the Dane becomes the fourth player to depart Old Trafford today.

Youngster Adnan Januzaj was the first to depart as he completed a season-long loan move to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, despite a strong start to the campaign under manager Louis van Gaal.

Mexican striker Javier Hernandez was next to leave as he joined Bayer Leverkusen after failing to start any of United’s first six games of the new season.

The biggest exit has been David De Gea’s switch to Liga BBVA Real Madrid after a whole summer of speculation and now Lindegaard has moved to the Baggies in the search of regular first-team football.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-year deal at the Hawthorns and will be reunited with former teammates Darren Fletcher and Jonny Evans.
