The 19-year-old has been linked with a potential season-long loan move to either Tottenham Hotspur or West Brom in a bid to receive regular first-team football as he has not made any of the match-day squads in United’s first six games of the new campaign.
Wilson netted a brace on his first league start for the Red Devils towards the end of the 2013-14 season against Hull City, however, he started just two games in the league last year under new manager Louis van Gaal and could only register two goals in all competitions.
