Emirates Stadium side keen to find buyer for midfielder.

Arsenal are keen to offload midfielder Mathieu Flamini on transfer deadline-day according to the Daily Mail.

The 31-year-old is something of a bit-part player at the Emirates Stadium and has a year to run on his current contract and the North London side are keen to see the French international’s £60k a week wages wiped off their balance sheet.

Flamini returned to the Emirates Stadium in 2013 after five years away at AC Milan and the defensive midfielder has looked one-dimensional when called upon and is a shadow of the player who impressed greatly in his first spell in North London.

Flamini made 15 Premier League starts last season but is yet to feature thus far in 2015/16 and his potential options regarding a deadline-day transfer are fairly reduced given most major European sides are now unable to make signings.
