Baggies star going nowhere.

Tottenham have seen fresh bids for 22-year-old West Brom forward Saido Berahino turned down by the Hawthorns side.

and this has led to the England Under-21 international taking to Twitter to blast West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace.

Reports on the BBC claim that offers from Tottenham amounted to as little as £5m up front, with the rest of any fee being tied to incentives, and as such it’s not a huge surprise that West Brom would refuse to sell Berahino.

West Brom have already signed Salomon Rondon for a club record £12m fee as well as Liverpool veteran Rickie Lambert so one imagines, for the right price, the club were willing to sell Berahino.

Berahino scored 20 goals in all competitions this season and started the current campaign before being left out of recent fixtures due to Tony Pulis feeling the forward was ‘unsettled’.

If Berahino does indeed refuse to play for West Brom one wonders what punishment the club may hand down to the marksman.
