Embarrassing! Arsenal fans FAIL to turn up at Arsene Wenger protest

Posted by

An Arsenal fan attempted to organise a protest against Arsene Wenger on Tuesday night, but no one turned up, reports the Metro.

Gunners supporters are unhappy with the lack of transfer movement from the club. Their only signing of the summer has been Petr Cech from Chelsea, and they are the only side in the top five European leagues to have not signed an outfield player. This led to one fan trying to start a protest after the transfer window closed.

This may have a major effect on the North London outfit’s attempts to win the Premier League title. Last season they came third with a very similar squad, and Manchester City have made a lightning start to the campaign. The Citizens have won their first four matches, scoring ten goals and conceding none.

However, not everyone appears to support actual protests as of yet, with not a single person turning up outside the Emirates Stadium. If the team were to lose a few more matches, could this change?
