Arsenal legend DOUBTS his former club can win the Premier League title this season

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has admitted that it will be very tough for his former side to win the Barclays Premier League title this season following their lack of activity in the transfer window.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger somewhat surprisingly decided not to add to his squad before the window closed on Tuesday evening and his only signing of the summer has been goalkeeper Petr Cech.

The north London outfit had been linked with moves for the likes of Paris Saint-Germain trio Edinson Cavani, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Adrien Rabiot on deadline day, but Wenger was unable to complete a deal for at least one of those players.

It meant that the FA Cup holders were the only team from the top five European leagues not to add a single outfield player to their squad this summer and Henry, who was in the Sky Sports studio for their deadline day coverage, said it will be difficult for them to be crowned champions of England this year.
