Manchester United boss made Chelsea star cry while at Old Trafford

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal made Chelsea star Radamel Falcao cry during his time at the club, reports the Daily Express.

Friends of the Colombia international have revealed that the 63-year-old reduced the player to tears with his treatment at the club. The 29-year-old endured a torrid time with the Red Devils, scoring a paltry four goals in 29 appearances during his single season for the club.

Now with the Stamford Bridge outfit, the forward is apparently enjoying life far more. Manager Jose Mourinho has publicly back him since his move, and the former Atletico Madrid man already scored his first goal for the Blues against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

However, the striker may have a big job on his hands with last season’s champions. The London club have had a poor start to the campaign, losing to Palace and Manchester City, as well as drawing with Swansea City in their first four games. If Falcao does manage to hit his best form though, it could signal a turnaround for Jose Mourinho’s men.
