England travel to the Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle on Saturday, 5 September to take on San Marino in the Euro 2016 qualifier, and having won all of their qualifiers thus far, all eyes are on the visitors to continue their fine form.
England are 10th in FIFA’s rankings, while San Marino sit at 192, and are expected to seal another easy victory. However, in true style, Roy Hodgson’s side haven’t impressed supporters despite their winning run, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see San Marino pull off a shock result.
Bwin have put together a detailed infographic of England’s opponents – take a look at their analysis by clicking this link.

As the graphic shows, San Marino have never won an official game, losing 115 of 118 played. And have scored just 15 goals, while conceding an astonishing 531.
Their top scorer is 39-years-old with eight strikes in 70 appearances, and really shouldn’t be a problem for centre-backs Gary Cahill, John Stones, Chris Smalling and Phil Jagielka.
Interestingly, bwin have noted that Germany are the most lethal of any European side against San Marino, averaging 9.5 goals per game. England are some way behind with an average of 6.2.
