£100m Chelsea and Manchester City target ‘ready to leave’ in January

Chelsea and Manchester City target Paul Pogba is ready to leave Juventus in January, according to the Daily Star.

The 22-year-old was linked to many clubs over the summer, but no move materialised in the end. This may have been due to an image rights issue, in which a former agent is demanding £25 million to give up his stake in the midfielder.

However, the France international and agent Mino Raiola are now going to the French courts to deal with the issue. If they manage to resolve it, then both Premier League sides, as well as Barcelona and Real Madrid, could go after the player in the next transfer window. Although the quartet may wait until summer before making their move.

The former Manchester United man was available for between £70-100 million over the summer, and it could be for a similar price that he eventually leaves Turin. If the youngster leaves, it will be a big loss for the Italian side, with him being a vital part of the side which won Serie A and the Coppa Italia and got to the final of the Champions League in the last campaign.
