Tottenham star demands White Hart Lane talks after being left in ‘limbo’ following failed summer transfer

Tottenham winger Andros Townsend will look to revive his White Hart Lane career after seeing his chances of a summer transfer move come to an end according to the Daily Mirror.

The 24-year-old is yet to feature for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season and was not included in Roy Hodgson’s England set-up for their Euro 2016 qualifiers in September.

Townsend wants talks with Pochettino to ascertain his future at the North London club with moves to both Southampton and West Brom failing to come to fruition over the summer.

By all accounts Andros Townsend was offered to both the Saints and the Baggies as part of bids for midfielder Victor Wanyama and Saido Berahino, two offers that were unsuccessful.

Andros Townsend made just ten Premier League starts last season and has seen the additions of Heung-Son Min and Clinton N’Jie likely to further restrict his involvement in first team matters this season.
