Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris believes Man United’s new signing Anthony Martial is a player with a very bright future according to the London Evening Standard.

The 19-year-old arrived at Old Trafford on deadline-day with Louis van Gaal’s side forking out a massive initial fee of £36m for the AS Monaco starlet.

Martial made his debut for the senior French national team earlier this month and Les Bleus captain Lloris is seemingly a big fan of the forward, stating;

“He is a bit shy, but is well involved in the group. He’s going to make his mark, but it’s never easy.

“We talked a lot about him lately. He has to digest all of that, but he has huge potential.

“I’m sure that tomorrow, or in the future he will serve the national team and continue to grow.

“In any case, he really has huge potential to become a great player. But he must take one step after another.”

Van Gaal will hope Martial can hit the ground running as his Man United side have struggled in the final third, scoring just three goals in their opening four Premier League fixtures.
