Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and Italian pass master Andrea Pirlo have been named as the two best MLS-based players on EA Sports’ upcoming FIFA 16 release.
Both players have been given a rating of 84, though with Gerrard’s pace at 54 and Pirlo’s at 41, it remains to be seen how useful they would be if brought back to the big European leagues.
Behind the two midfielders, there are four players with a rating of 81. They are Orlando City’s Brazilian playmaker Kaka, Seattle Sounders’ striker Clint Dempsey, former Juventus midfielder Seb Giovinco, and Chelsea hero Didier Drogba.
Other noteworthy players include Frank Lampard (79), David Villa (80), Gio dos Santos (79), Robbie Keane (80), Obafemi Martins (79) and Sunderland flop Jozy Altidore (23! 74).
This season’s edition of FIFA, which is always one of the best selling computer games of the year, will be released on 22nd September.
