Man United target Gareth Bale has no intention of leaving Real Madrid according to his agent Jonathan Barnett.

The Daily Telegraph reports on comments made by Barnett at Soccerex Global Convention made regarding the 26-year-old Welsh international’s future at the Bernabeu, stating;

“I think he’s very happy at Real Madrid and hopefully he’ll stay there the rest of his career,”

Bale enjoyed a strong debut season in the Spanish capital, his 22 goal haul including efforts in both the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals, but last term the former Tottenham man came in for some harsh treatment at the hands of an element of Real Madrid’s home support.

Nonetheless the speedy attacker still managed to bag 17 goals though Real Madrid did lose their titles and this ultimately cost Carlo Ancelotti his job.

Life under Rafa Benitez has started well for Gareth Bale, with the forward scoring twice in Real Madrid’s 5-0 drubbing of Real Betis.
