Gunners chasing world class playmaker.

Arsenal are plotting a January move to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco as he is unsettled at the Bernabeu, with Manchester City also monitoring his situation.

The Spanish international has not managed to fulfill his true potential since moving from Malaga to Madrid, and is no longer guaranteed a first-team place under new manager Rafael Benitez.

According to the Daily Express, this could prompt Arsenal and City to move for him this winter, with both clubs seemingly on the lookout for more creative talent.

Both sides already have players like Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne in their ranks, but Isco remains a highly-regarded talent who’d be welcome at most top clubs around Europe.
