Manchester United fans have welcomed back David De Gea to their starting XI with open arms.
The 24-year-old is back between the sticks for their match with Liverpool, after being left out for the first six matches of the season. Sergio Romero had been playing in goal while the Spain international was the subject of interest from Real Madrid.
However, a move to the Bernabeu fell apart, and now the former Atletico Madrid man has signed a new deal at Old Trafford. Subsequently, manager Louis van Gaal has put the player back in to the first team, starting him against Liverpool.

Supporters have been very happy to see the ‘keeper playing again. This is no surprise with De Gea having won the Player of the Season award for the last two years. Having him back in the side will be a major boost after a worrying defeat to Swansea City. They will need him to be in top form if they are going to improve on the fourth place finish of the last campaign.
