David Beckham plots move to lure Wayne Rooney to front Miami MLS side

Former Man United star David Beckham will attempt to lure Wayne Rooney into a Stateside move as he looks to the England international to front his new Miami based MLS franchise according to the Daily Star.

Beckham hopes to have his MLS side up and running for 2018 and will hope the chance to make a name for himself in North America would tempt Rooney who, by then, may be ready to leave Old Trafford for pastures new.

Rooney recently overhauled Bobby Charlton to become England’s leading goal-scorer but still just 29 years of age and as such could well see his medium term future in Europe.
