Chelsea ban banter as Jose Mourinho comes up with ingenious plan to resolve crisis….

Chelsea have placed a ban on ‘banter’ as Jose Mourinho looks to bring an end to the club’s miserable start to the season according to the Daily Telegraph.

The West London side have instituted a policy that means Blues stars will be discouraged from any jokey behaviour at the club’s training ground with Jose Mourinho keen to instill a sense of deadly seriousness following the club’s run of three defeats in their first five Premier League fixtures.

Chelsea face Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Champions League action on Wednesday night and Mourinho will be looking to his side to complete a big win over the Israeli side and will hope that such a success would spur them on for their massive weekend battle with Arsenal.

Mourinho is ready to drop a number of senior stars for the midweek clash with Branislav Ivanovic likely to be one of the players set for the axe.
