The team at Caught Offside wish Shaw well, although the prognosis doesn’t look good, not for United—who replaced the former Southampton defender with Marcos Rojo—or for England, who will be waiting anxiously on the defender’s fitness ahead of the 2016 European Championships next summer.

Shaw has endured an injury-hit time at Old Trafford since making the move up north from Southampton in 2014.
The defender missed much of the last campaign through injury—making only 16 appearances—and would do well to beat that tally this term after his recent horrendous misfortune.
