Reds already looking at LVG successor?

Manchester United are said to be considering a huge move to bring Pep Guardiola to the club as the replacement for manager Louis van Gaal.

The Bayern Munich boss is refusing to commit his future to the Bundesliga giants after a mixed spell in charge, but remains one of the most highly rated coaches in world football after a tremendously successful career so far.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Spaniard is ahead of Ryan Giggs in the reckoning, despite Van Gaal himself tipping the Welshman to be the next United manager when he steps down.

Giggs is inexperienced, however, and if United feel they can get Guardiola, it would not be a huge surprise if they went for the two-time Champions League winner to come in at Old Trafford.
