Manchester United have a new hero in Anthony Martial, with the £36m French starlet at it again this weekend as he struck a superb double to down Southampton at St Mary’s.
This incredible stat shows that Martial has now scored more away league goals than Rooney has in a year and a half, highlighting just how much Louis van Gaal needed to perhaps overspend on the 19-year-old.

Martial made an instant impact on his home debut against Liverpool, scoring a wonderful solo goal after coming on as a substitute.
Rooney, meanwhile, is still not off the mark in the league this season, though he has three goals that came in one game in a Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge.
