Former Gunners star could take Premier League job.

Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has been linked with a move to take over as manager of Premier League strugglers Sunderland, who are considering Dick Advocaat’s future.

The Frenchman is currently in charge of Manchester City’s Under-21 side, and has been tipped as a possible contender to take the big job at the Etihad Stadium in the past.

Still, with Manuel Pellegrini perhaps unlikely to be in much danger of losing his job anytime soon, Vieira may now be tempted to look elsewhere for a breakthrough in top level management.
