Reports in Germany suggest that Liverpool have had a bid rejected for Schalke forward Leroy Sane.
The attacker has impressed in the Bundesliga so far this season, and according to our sister site and Liverpool blog Empire of the Kop, Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring Leroy Sane to Anfield. Reports also indicate that the Northern Irish coach has had a bid rejected for the talented 19-year-old.
Sane has scored three in three for Schalke in the German top flight so far this season, and could represent a glittering addition to the Reds’ ranks, even though the Merseysiders aren’t particularly short of talented offensive widemen.
