Strong words from former Liverpool man and Sky pundit!
Former Liverpool midfielder and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp has compared Manchester United striker Anthony Martial to Barcelona legend Lionel Messi.
The French international has made a sensational start to his Old Trafford career, scoring four goals already, including some fine solo efforts, to defy his critics.
Initially not that well known, Martial’s signing for a surprisingly high fee of £36m was criticised by fans and media alike when he moved from AS Monaco to Old Trafford this summer.

However, many are now jumping on the bandwagon, with Redknapp telling Sky Sports he feels the 19-year-old is the best prospect he’s seen since a young Messi first came through at Barcelona.
