Not strictly Arsenal transfer news, but the Gunners could be close to making a hugely important signing as reports suggest Alexis Sanchez will commit his future to the club with a new contract.
The Chilean international was linked with a shock exit from the Emirates Stadium this week after the club’s nightmare start in the Champions League, which could see them drop out at the group stage this season.
However, the Daily Mirror now claims that the former Barcelona man will end up staying in north London, where he has proven to be a superb signing since joining last year.
